Obituary: JoAnn Ruth (Rennhack) Stone, age 82

JoAnn Ruth (Rennhack) Stone, age 82 of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

JoAnn was born on April 16, 1936 in Reeseville, the daughter of Roy and Ruth (Klentz) Rennhack. She was married to Edgar T. Stone on September 30, 1953 in Shawneetown, IL. Joann worked at Brandt’s in Watertown, the cheese factory in Lowell and Helbing’s Supper Club in Beaver Dam. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Reeseville. She loved to camp, fish, travel and watch her beloved Green Bay Packers. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Debra (Bobby) Traywick of Hot Springs Village, AR, Denise (Garrett) Barnes of Lebanon, IL, Diana (Dennis Biel) Manegold of Beaver Dam, Edgar (Tamara) Stone Jr. of Cheyenne, WY, Dale (Cheryl) Stone of Beaver Dam, James (Kelly) Stone of Waterloo and Tonja (Dennis) Conerly of Madison; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Lola Muenchow and Karen (Richard) Klomsten; brothers, Howard Rennhack, David (Bonnie) Rennhack and Victor Rennhack; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and other relatives.

Visitation for JoAnn will be held on Friday, October 26 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, October 27 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 210 Lincoln Ave.,Reeseville from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donald Steinberg officiating. Burial will take place at Lowell Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Cornerstone.

If desired, memorials in JoAnn’s name may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Agnesian Hospice Hope of Fond du Lac.
